| DAY 02 April 15th, 2008 Jesus of the day: "Die Versuchung Christi" ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Today, one of my guests from yesterday (Christian) told all the colleagues at work about this exhibition he went to (meaining this one here). It was funny to see how my colleagues looked at me although all of them already knew what I was doing. I mean: I was pestering them with this project for the past six months. Still, I really appreciated the encouraging comments and spontaneous ideas on how to expand the project after it is finished and I was really happy that some people said they would like to com and see it. After all, I don't want them to be just stressed by this weird guy (me). I like to see them have some fun, too. Another colleague (Nina) keeps sending me Jesus-songs she finds on iTunes. And I just received a text message ending in "Sleep well, Jesus." I sure hope that this will not be my next nickname. I got nothing to do with Jesus! How was the first night sleeping in a room where the walls are covered with Jesus images? I can tell you: No difference to any other night. I didn't dream of Jesus or the project, even. I kind of expected it but I guess it will happen a bit further in. Currently the stress from the rest of my life is just a little too overwhelming for "Jesus" to really get through. How was the first morning with all these Jesus images: There was a difference. I can walk through my room again without banging my feet and knees on picture frames standing on the floor. That was new and very comfortable. Other than that it felt pretty normal. As with the nights, I expect this to change during the course of the project. My guest tonight was Rut Wenker.
