Jesus of the day: "Mount of Olives"

After the really bad experience at the hotel I had two more guests tonight (besides my wife, who joined in for a second time). However, worldly things kept me from thinking about the project or Jesus today.
But when I went home I passed a small church, located right at the edge of the red light district. I think I'll have to go there next week.
It's funny however how this motive fits my experience at the hotel. "Let this cup pass from me" (Matthew 26, 38-39) - what an appropriate bible quote for this occurence. We were given a room with broken lights, dusty furniture, no staff was available to bring us another blanket, the pralines were mouldy and then, when I wanted a beer from the mini bar, I said to my wife, in a jokingly manner: "I bet it's past the best-before date" which it was by 5 months (as were some other items). And things just kept happening. The cup didn't pass from us. But then again, it was just a hotel room.
It's still strange because I decided on that Jesus to be the Jesus of the day in a most arbitrary way on the weekend. If you believe in signs, this is your sign.
