Jesus of the day: "Entombed"

I just came back from a small trip to Darmstad. The hotel was perfect, the food plentiful, the city sweet if you manage to find the art deco spots besides the usual tourist attraction areas.
The weather and the amount of food from the last days really made me feel quite bad today, I was tired, my stomach ached ... and so I'm back in my flat with a cup of cold water, no food and some wine later on.
I'm slowly working on the project. I decided that I should try and slow down the pace in which I do things, especially in this project. As a matter of fact, I have slowed down my typing speed by 50% as wee speek. Why am I doing that? Because I think that it is essential to spend as much time with things as they deserve. I obviously have to work on my priorities now. If I do everything as fast as possible, I can do more things. If I do things as fast or slow as they should be done, I have to stop doing certain other things.
This is nothing that I do because I read it in the New Testament but if you wanted to you could actually come to the conclusion that this same message can be read from Jesus' words. When tells people to sell everything they own and to follow him, what else does he mean than if you really want to do something, you must focus on it completely?
My wife gave me a pocket watch today. This shall be my reminder to spend as much time of things as they need and deserve.
Also I bought a little book usually used for collecting stamps. I keep the little passport photos of the the Jesus images in there ...
