Livin' With Jesus
DAY 27

Jesus of the day: "Jesus from Malta"
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I had a small field trip last week. I went to art basel. Or "art blase", as we sometimes call it. Simply because some people say that the art market is a bubble that will burst like the new economy. Bubble = blase -> basel.

Anyway. I came back to my Jesus apartment after almost a week of absence and it felt nice. All the images were still there and I had a reply for my first part of the online Bible course I'm taking.

The way this online bible course works is the following: First, they tell you a could of things about the section you are reading. Then they might have some statements by people who found god, then they give you a bunch of quotes from the bible and tell you what they mean. Then they give you the quotes again with empty text fields. You're supposed to enter what you've learned the quotes mean.

I was very blunt and critical, saying one shouldn't single out the quotes and that it all sounds like that god is there mainly for those who suffer in some way or another. I also wrote some other things and hit the submit button.

Now the answer really, really surprised me. Instead of getting back some spiritual mumbo-jumbo, the guy actually referred to what I had written. First insight: the people there are actually reading what you write! So beware! Then he basically said that I was right in most of my observations (basic leadership strategy for convincing people of the opposite). Yet it was written in really nice fashion and I'm actually looking forward to making the next chapter over the weekend.
