JESUS # 30 - June 16th


"Dein Heiland ist bei Dir"

This is a typical item for a certain time. I'm not exactly sure when to place these, though. These objects are handmade, with the typing stitched onto a canvas. The little Jesus image is surounded by dried flowers and herbs.

The person who arranged all the Jesus images on my walls told me that there are collectors for this specific type of object and that he once had to hang a whole collection of a couple of hundred of these.

If I were superstitious, I would think it to be a sign that this one of all images came broken. The wording says something like, no matter what happens, no matter how hard your life, God is there for you. Even if the glas breaks? Comforting thought. To some at least. Since I'm not superstitious, I just find it funny.
