JESUS # 42 - July 13th


"Christus, das Lamm aus den Dornen befreiend"

This is one that easily escapes people's attention. It's not the size but the motive that is rather timid and withdrawn. The motive doesn't have a clear focus point, there is nothing striking about it and nothing weird.

So even my wife said she couldn't even remember this one being part of the collection. Which is a reason to like this image. Not that my wife can't remember it, but because it just very silently sits there, showing Jesus as he finds the missing lamb.
