JESUS 46 - July 24th


"Einer ist euer Meister ..."

This is another "handmade" Jesus that is over 100 years old. Which is, of course, a guess. And it's another one of those interchangeable, merchandise type images.

The words say: "You have one master, Jesus, and you are all brothers." Which is based on Matthew 23:8.

I particularly like this one because it is so worn by time. It looks like it has been in a fire or in some seriously dusty environment. There are water stains and the frame is also very worn. Still, for the age of this item it's all pretty good. I wonder what will be left of our times, 100 years from now ... maybe this project? Now that would be ... weird.
